Who we are

At swimli we are all about inclusion, community, health & well being.

Our aim is to make you feel comfortable and confident in the water whether you are dipping your toe at a badi or signing up for a triathlon. We believe swimming is not only a healthy sport for life but a necessary life skill and valuable tool for all of us in integrating to Swiss culture.

Ash grew up as a competitive swimmer in Ireland, training from 4:30a.m. starting at age 11. She specialized in the 100m and 200m Butterfly, as well as the 400m and 800m Freestyle. At university, she returned to the pool where she had trained as a child, working as a lifeguard and teaching children's swimming lessons.

Her qualifications and enthusiasm for the water took her to North American Summer camps where she managed a team of lifeguards and instructors in providing the camp’s waterfront activities.

Moving to Australia, Ash taught all over the city of Sydney, from Bondi beach, to primary schools to universities. This experience proved she can teach at all levels and abilities. She also started competing in open water races off the coast of New South Wales.

Now living in Zürich, her dream is to build a community of swimmers by providing meet-ups, lessons and squads through English.
